Providing customer with a mature Cloud solution comprising of a complete set of services to manage SAP on Platform as a service on Azure environments with security, enterprise-grade durability and scalability built-in. Equip customers’s SAP specific compute applications with all the benefits and agility of Cloud computing, all the possibilities and interoperability of Open Source, and all the security and reliability KION’s needs. Ensure a fully resilient and secure environment that includes improved security and a stronger business continuity framework, is right sized to accommodate the needs of KION’s business today and has the flexibility to meet future needs
Result
Using a lift-and-shift approach, our project managers successfully migrated application workloads, including SAP, at the rate of approximately 25 servers per week. The newly achieved speed of cloud services enabled customer to complete a Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams rollout in a very short time during the health crisis, giving 22,000 employees the opportunity to work from home.
